Overview & Gameplay

Advanced Bus Job (lx-busjob) turns public transport into a complete gameplay loop: an operations terminal, freeplay routes, a daily contract board, a depot fleet, physical passenger boarding, and performance-based pay.

New server owners should begin with Installation & Dependencies.

  • LST Operations Terminal — full NUI terminal at the depot with Dashboard, Routes, Schedule, Depot, Drivers, Reports, and Settings tabs
  • Freeplay routes — city routes with real Los Santos Transit shelter stops, each starting from a different map region
  • Daily contracts — a rolling assignment board with bonuses, optional objectives, and a board-clear reward
  • Depot fleet — selectable vehicles (Transit Bus, Coach, Tour Shuttle, Airport Coach) with per-model door routing
  • Passenger systems — passengers queue at shelters, board through the correct curb door, take seats, and alight at their stops
  • Manual doors & scoring — driving quality (crashes, speeding, door discipline, stop accuracy) affects tips
  • Live map — GTA V Leaflet atlas with baked route trails, loaded per-route on demand (all tiles local, no CDN)
  • Navigation — stop-by-stop GPS guidance and driver HUD via lx-navigation
  1. Clock in — visit the Bus Depot, interact with the depot NPC (target or E) to open the LST Operations Terminal
  2. Pick work — choose a freeplay route from Routes (with map preview), or accept a daily assignment from Schedule for bonus pay
  3. Take a bus — pick your vehicle in Depot and press Start Job
  4. Drive the route — follow GPS guidance stop to stop; pull up within the stop zone, open doors, board and drop off passengers
  5. Earn tips — each drop-off tips based on your driving score
  6. Return to depot — park in the return zone to end the shift and receive your wage, completion bonus, and any contract bonuses

Per completed shift, in order:

  1. Tips at drop-offs (tipMax × score) — freeplay and contracts
  2. Shift wage at depot return — (stop pay × stops) + completion bonus
  3. Contract bonus — if the shift was an accepted daily assignment
  4. Objective bonuses — assignment runs only (clean run, legal pace, door discipline)
  5. Board-clear bonus — once, when all daily assignments are done
  6. Freeplay wage boost — after board clear, until the next board reset

Every amount is server-validated and paid through lx-lib, so it works identically on Qbox, QB-Core, and ESX. Tune all of it in Economy & Contracts.
